University College London (New Research Centre)


The new institute, known as the Sainsbury Wellcome Centre, represents a partnership between the Gatsby Charitable Foundation and the Wellcome Trust to establish a new research centre in Neural Circuits and Behaviour at UCL.

ESH were contracted to design, supply and install a trace heating system for the frost protection of the CHW pipework within the west AHU plantroom.

Stonehenge Visitor Centre

Stonehenge now has a transformed visitor experience with this brand new £27m visitor centre. Within this fabulous setting, ESH designed, supplied and installed a trace heating system to perform the duty of frost protecting the external BCWS, borehole water and recycled black water pipework.

Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead




A specialist NHS hospital providing life changing reconstructive surgery. ESH were contracted to design, supply and install a frost protection trace heating system to over 325m of chilled water pipework in the roof mounted plant room areas.

Sunrise Care Home, Southampton

ESH were contracted to supply and install trace heating to repair an exciting system installed by others some years age. The pipework comprised of steel heating pipe associated with an air handling unit on the buildings roof.

A key treatment site in the Yorkshire Water Service supply network. Here ESH designed, supplied and installed type FBT self regulating heating cable to provide frost protection to external pipework.

Aztec Oils, Chesterfield

This process temperature maintenance application saw ESH design, supply and install a trace heating system to a run of 89 & 60mm Ø pipework. The system was required to achieve a temperature of +60°C in a minimum ambient of -20°C.

Regent Street Block W4, London


Part of The Crown Estate's £1 billion investment in Regent Street, the redevelopment of block W4 will provide 33,000sq ft of retail space as well as a further 97,000sq ft of office space. 

For this large project ESH designed, supplied and installed a trace heating system to provide frost protection to the external LTHW (flow & return), CHW (f&r) and the boosted CWS pipework on the buildings roof. In total over 420 metres of type FBT self limited heating tape was installed throughout this project.
