Molson Coors Brewery, Burton On Trent

Molson Coors Brewery is the seventh largest brewer by volume in the world! Here at their Burton-On-Trent headquarters, ESH designed, supplied and install a trace heating system to temperature maintain stainless steel pipework containing caustic soda at between +10°C to +15°C.

On this Raychem specified trace heating project, ESH installed a frost protection system to external pipework using Raychem self regulating heating tape.

NAPP Pharmaceuticals, Cambridge

For this large project, ESH were asked to design, supply and install a frost protection trace heating system to internal sprinkler pipework.

Good Hope Hospital, Sutton Coldfield

This was our second project within Good Hope after work on the endoscopy and ultrasound roofs back in 2004. This time ESH were contracted to design, supply and install a trace heating system to freeze protect the condense pipework again on the hospital roof.

* When Is Frost Protection Trace Heating Required? *

Nottingham Incinerator Plant

Here we were contracted to inspect the heating cable already installed on the hoppers, by testing the circuit for insulation resistance, testing the resistance to determine the heating load and checking the operation of the thermostat.

7-11 Bishopsgate Offices, London

Within this large (6,000sqm) office building, ESH were contracted to design, supply and install two separate trace heating systems:

• System one was for the frost protection for the roof mounted BCWS pipework

• System two for the temperature maintenance of +55°C on the washroom pipework from the basement area up to the 6th floor

SAFC Hitech, Wirral

For this process temperature maintenance project, ESH were asked to design, supply and install a trace heating system to maintain +80°C. Type VC constant wattage heating cable was double traced underneath the pipework in order to achieve the required temperature.

Within this water treatment works ESH supplied and installed a trace heating system for the frost protection of the external plastic pipework.

Denco Lubrication, Hereford

For this project we supplied and installed a trace heating and thermal insulation system of oil pipework and fittings on two large skids. The purpose of the system was to temperature maintain the pipework at +10°C.

European Centre for Medium Weather Forecasts, Reading

The ECMWF centre is an intergovernmental organisation supported by 34 states based in West London. Here we designed, supplied and installed a trace heating system to provide frost protection to chilled water (flow & return) pipework for a large chiller.

* Frost Protection Trace Heating *

Wickham STW

Supplied and installed a trace heating system to frost protect humus de-sludge, humus feed pump station, septic tank area and inlet area pipework.

Sheffield University, Science Administration Building

For this large project, ESH were contracted to design, supply and install two trace heating systems:

• System one was for the frost protection of the chilled water feed and chilled works system pipework (type VC constant wattage heating cable installed). 

• The second system required the temperature maintenance of the internal heating pipework (type H2OWAT55 self regulating cable installed).
